Focusing on the base layer, technology layer, and application layer in the artificial intelligence industry, Nanjing has gathered nearly 300 artificial intelligence enterprises, with a core industry scale of more than 6 billion yuan and a related industry scale of nearly 80 billion yuan.
On October 26 2021, the Evaluation Report on Development of China’s Artificial Intelligence Computing Power 2021-2022 was released at AICC 2021. This report's aim was to comprehensively consider and evaluate the development level of China’s artificial intelligence technology from aspects of macro economy, technology maturity, AI labor supply, industry, and region.
The rankings of the 2021 Artificial Intelligence City attracted much attention. Nanjing jumped into fourth place for the first time (behind Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou) showing the incredible progress it has made in this field and highlighting its enormous potential for further growth.
